Open the.dmg file with the Disk Utility still open. You will see the.dmg file on the left of the Disk Utility screen. 4 Click the.dmg file (Not the USB as some files have). According to user reports, the download process was completed and there were no issues with unzipping. .dmg disk images are mounted by DiskImageMounter app, in /System/Library/CoreServices/. Have you been deleting apps out of there? The other, more obvious, answer is that the disk image is corrupt. Download it again, and lock it immediately, before attempting to mount.
